*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

The primary focus of the Sr. Quality Compliance Analyst is to manage and support the activities required to meet product stewardship, quality, food safety, or regulatory compliances for Novolex. This position will interact with internal and external customers. Manage large amounts of information. Report, analyze and interpret compliance information and make recommendations to management.



  • Supports Novolex product stewardship to coordinate compliance requirements related to multiple programs as applicable.
  • Receives and manages customer requests for program and regulatory compliances.
  • Takes a lead role in the customer response process. This includes interaction with Customers and managing Customer driven projects.
  • Independently handle complex problems with minimal supervision, while escalating issues to appropriate staff.
  • Requests and maintains necessary compliance paperwork related to the product compliance to programs, federal, state, and local regulations, and food safety.
  • Reviews compliance paperwork for completeness and appropriate statements or responses.
  • Research regulatory laws and determines how they apply to Novolex products.
  • Works collaboratively with Supply Chain and Quality Team to respond to customer requests.
  • Responds to requests for information in writing and has authority to submit product regulatory compliance information, food safety and complex technical specifications.
  • Understands legal and risk implications of information supplied to Customers.
  • Responds and has authority to sign Ethics and Code of Conduct compliance documents for customers.
  • Reports status and statistical data related to programs and projects.
  • Reviews and trends data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conducts internal audits based upon multiple audit schemes; develops and implements corrective action plans.
  • Participates and may lead in 3rd party audits, including direct involvement with auditors.
  • Interacts and collaborates with Customers, Operations, Sales, Product Development, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
  • This position is home based and may include activities in Novolex manufacturing plants.
  • This position may travel within the United States and Canada. Travel may be up to 25%.

  • Detail oriented and consistently demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability.
  • Proficient in use of MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) programs.
  • Establishes and maintains effective channels of communications with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems independently and with sound judgment.
  • Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and understand compliance to food safety laws, regulations, and various program requirements such as SQF, BRCGS, HACCP and Sustainability Programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
