Job Details

Diany Paola Calderon lab at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City has an opening postdoctoral position in her laboratory. One of the research topics in the Calderon lab focuses on understanding the contribution of nociception to the recovery of motor behavior after traumatic brain injury.

We currently use in vivo recordings in awake mice, fiber photometry, optogenetic/chemogenetic modulation, and behavioral studies to answer these questions. Insights obtained from these neurophysiological studies will be translated to the clinic.

This position seeks a person with a strong background in neuroscience and/or computational neuroscience and programming skills in MATLAB or Python. Experience with in vivo recordings is desirable.
