Our Mision

Farm Credit supports rural communities and agriculture with reliable, consistent credit and financial services, today and tomorrow. That's our mission. And we serve every part of agriculture from the smallest operations to the largest – and everything in between.

Our Structure

Farm Credit is a nationwide network of 72 customer-owned financial institutions. Across all 50 states and Puerto Rico, we provide loans and related financial services to U.S. farmers and ranchers, farmer-owned cooperatives and other agribusinesses, rural homebuyers, and rural infrastructure providers.

Our History

From our start in 1916, Farm Credit has been serving rural communities and agriculture for more than 100 years. This rich history has helped us build an extraordinary depth of understanding of rural credit needs.

Our Customers & Our Mission

As we fulfill our mission, we focus on our customers. As cooperatives, they own and govern each Farm Credit institution. And they are at the heart of everything we do.
