Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the end to end business development process, from sourcing and screening opportunities, to developing business cases and term sheets, to conducting due diligence and contract review, to closing and post-closing transfer.

  • Communicate effectively across a matrix organization, by articulating the vision, purpose, and expectations of the business development initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment at both the deal team and organizational level, reducing conflict and uncertainty, and allowing everyone to have their voices heard.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas/concepts, synthesize and summarize a complex set of facts and set opportunities within the broader strategic context
  • Work with CDSO to develop and execute the strategy that will help position Alnylam as a leading biotechnology partner in our focus areas of interest.
