What is the Opportunity? The Global Investment Banking division is looking to add an Analyst in support of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets team, based in New York City. What will you do? - Maintain databases encompassing High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Bank Loan issuance, secondary trading levels, and upcoming transactions
- Coordinate with Corporate Banking to obtain and maintain pipeline reporting and datasets (Bank Loans) and market data sources (High Yield and Leveraged Loans)
- Maintain comparable transactions database for Bank Loan facilities (large term loans, bridge facilities, etc)
- Maintain investor outreach and allocation database for High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Bank Loan syndications
- Assist in primary trade booking and closing processes for Lead Left High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Bank Loan syndications
- Source Lender Presentations and maintain database for Leveraged Loan transactions
- Assist Leveraged Finance Capital Markets bankers on ad-hoc projects as they relate to primary offerings
- Coordinate with Bank Loan LFCM to maintain weekly activity tracker
- Create and maintain league tables, credentials pages, and other marketing materials
- On-going lead for various ad-hoc strategic initiatives and internal management meetings
What do you need to succeed? - BS in Finance/Accounting or related fields
- 0-2 years of experience in a financial institution
- Must be advanced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)
- Project management mind-set and approach
- Knowledge of Investment Banking product set preferred (Leveraged Finance)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Extremely detail oriented and analytical
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Team player

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000 - $135,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
