Join the AI & Digital Engineering team at RBC Capital Markets, reporting directly to the Head of AI & Digital Engineering. As a key member of our innovative and collaborative team, you'll focus on analyzing and driving data-driven insights to enhance user engagement, optimize product consumption, and improve usage patterns. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging technical and product expertise to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do? - Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover actionable insights that drive user engagement and product adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders-to optimize consumption and usage metrics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user behavior and product performance.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for enhancing data-driven decision-making.
- Support the design and implementation of data pipelines and workflows to ensure seamless data collection, processing, and analysis.
- Translate complex business challenges into analytical frameworks, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the team's data analytics capabilities.
What do you need to succeed? Education: - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Technical Expertise: - Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in programming languages for data analysis, such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems.
Problem-Solving: - Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and propose innovative solutions.
Communication Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Collaborative Mindset: - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment, engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Industry Insight: - Understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements is an asset.

The expected salary range for this particular position in New York is $110,000-$130,000 , depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
